Welcome to the NJ Fire Museum & Fallen Firefighters Memorial! Step back in time and explore hundreds of years of volunteer and career firefighting heritage in New Jersey. From early hand-pumpers and leather bucket brigades to antique motorized engines, historic alarm boxes, and meaningful memorial tributes, there is something here for history buffs, families, fire service enthusiasts, and school groups alike.

- Sunday – Friday: Closed to the general public (open for scheduled group tours and special events)

All admission proceeds go directly toward the maintenance of our historic apparatus collection, archives, and memorial grounds.

Driving Directions
- From the NJ Turnpike (North or South): Take Exit 7A for I-195 East. Follow I-195 East toward Shore Points, take Exit 11 toward Allentown/Centerville, and follow signs onto Polhemustown Road.
- From I-195 (East or West): Take Exit 11 toward Allentown. Proceed south on Polhemustown Road; the museum entrance and parking area will be on your right.
Parking
Free, spacious parking is available on-site for standard passenger vehicles, vans, and full-sized tour buses. Accessible parking spaces are located immediately adjacent to the main building entrance.
Group Tours & Educational Visits
We welcome school field trips, scout troops, fire department outings, senior groups, and community organizations year-round! Guided group tours can be scheduled outside normal public operating hours with advance reservation.

- Guided Walkthrough: Knowledgeable docents lead your group through our apparatus bay, historical artifact exhibits, and interactive displays.
- Fire Safety & History Education: Tailored presentations for school groups covering early firefighting techniques, fire prevention, and community safety.
Scheduling a Group Visit
- Advance Notice: Please request group bookings at least 2–3 weeks in advance.
- Group Size: Groups of 10 or more qualify for discounted group admission rates.

Visitor Amenities & Accessibility
- Accessibility: Main display galleries, Picnic Area, and Memorial grounds are fully accessible.
